Keeping Busy - Literacy

by Paul Ahern on April 7th, 2020

The final part of our series checking in on what our students have been up to leads us to our legendary Literacy class.

Exercise and baking (interesting combination) along with some Easter art and helping at home seems to be the order of the day for this posse.

David has been showing off his artistic talents by making some gorgeous looking Easter cards. He has also been getting stuck into some worksheets. When he needs a break, himself and his Dad are getting some fresh matching Cork City hats no less!

Sadhbh has been showing off her helpful side by helping in the kitchen and also by doing some hoovering. When she has a minute to herself she has been keeping in shape by dancing her heart out!

Mariah has also been mixing it up. When she isn't whipping people into shape with her new hairstlyle, she is helping out around the house and sending a card to her lovely godson.

Karen has also been showing off her kitchen wizardry by baking some lovely looking buns. I wonder are there any left??

Fiona has been staying in floorball shape by getting out walking bringing the very handsome Larry along for the ride!!

Anyone want scones? If you do, Conor is your man. He has been busy making scones, which I must say look fantastic. Also love how he is showing his Cork colours! Up the Rebels!

It's a pity the Olympics has been postponed as Matthew looks ready to go. He has been going for runs in the morning. I can almost hear the Rocky music playing!! He has also been busy making a card for someone...

Which leads us to Rebecca. Last Friday, Rebecca celebrated a special day. She turned 22 and marked the occasion by making her very own birthday cake. Happy Birthday from all at FoD!

These guys have been so busy I'm getting tired writing everything! Well done all.

Stay safe, and see you soon!
